Fall Festival

It's time for our annual Fall Festival, which celebrates Food, Fun, & Giving! This year's festival will be held on Saturday, October 23rd, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Admission is free; however, tickets for all food and game booths will be on sale for 50 cents each.

The festival will kick off with our Lower School costume contest at 5:00 pm. All students in PK3 through fifth grade may enter. We have three categories available: individual, group, and visitor. The group category must have a Glades Day School student involved. The visitors' category is open to infants through students in fifth grade. Those interested in participating in the contest need to arrive at the football field at 4:45 pm to check in. The costume judging will begin promptly at 5:00 pm.

Immediately following the conclusion of the costume contest, the food and game booths will open, as well as BINGO and the Athletic BIG Money Raffle drawing in the gym. Athletic Big Money Raffle tickets can be purchased now through Monday, October 18th, by calling or emailing Amanda Threlkeld at athrelkeld@gladesdayschool.com. Join us for BINGO to take your chances at winning awesome prizes valued at $50+ donated by our friends, families, and the community! One lucky winner will receive a complimentary student registration fee for the 2022-2023 school year!

Bidders, get ready! This year's Fall Raffle and Cake Auction will be held virtually via BidPal. Our 2021 Fall Raffle items include a Miami Dolphins Game Day Package, Traeger Grill, Louis Vuitton Wristlet, David Yurman Bracelet, and HDTV. Raffle ticket pricing, the number of tickets available, and details will be available on BidPal. Plus, you can have your cake and eat it too with our annual Cake Auction, one of the "sweetest" ways to raise money for GDS! More information regarding the scheduling of cake delivery for winners will be posted on BidPal. Bidding will open on Friday, October 15th, and close on the evening of the Fall Festival at 8:00 pm. All winners will be announced at 8:30 pm. Keep a lookout for the BidPal link next week!

As always, we need YOU to make this event a success. Each of the festivities we will be hosting helps our school in many ways. While these fundraisers provide funding for many of our programs and activities, they also allow for the opportunity to build relationships, get involved in fun ways, and win some awesome one-of-a-kind prizes! A HUGE thank you to our incredible room mothers for all of their help in planning this event; we couldn't do it with you!
