Glades Day School provides a comprehensive program of academic guidance and college counseling in the Upper School.  Our school counselors work with students to develop an educational plan over the course of his or her high school career while challenging each student to recognize his or her full potential.  Counselors monitor academic progress and meet with parents and teachers as needed.

Our Upper School Guidance Department consists of three counselors providing services to assigned grade levels:  Rita Schoenfeld - seventh and eighth grades, Stormi Stein - ninth and tenth grades and Bobbi Lou Christmas - eleventh and twelfth grades.

The services provided to our students include academic planning, college and career planning, standardized test preparation, financial aid assistance, scholarship search assistance, and coordination of leadership opportunities.  The guidance office offers a friendly and welcoming environment for students, parents and visitors.
