The new Glades Day School Web Site is the result of work
by the Computers III/IV class under the supervision of
teacher Marion Primmer. The school's Web Site has always
been maintained by students starting with the class of
1995. Each year the class would make changes to the web
site-- adding, changing, deleting pages. For a couple of
years now, major changes had not been made as the class
assisted with the networking of
the school. Students helped configure computers
for the network, repair broken computers, make cabling,
etc.
2006/2007 class started the work on the new Web
Site. Students learned how to create and edit pages
using Microsoft FrontPage, how to make Flash using SwishMax and later Macromedia Flash. A template was
chosen and students began work. 2007/2008 students
started the year learning how to create and edit pages
using Microsoft Front Page. Students took many pictures
and edited them using Adobe Photoshop Elements.
The Web Site is ever
evolving--including making corrections and changes.
Please let us know if something is not right so we can
correct it and let us know what you like about it.
Thanks to yearbook
has been kind enough to supply us with pictures. Mrs.
Liz Duff and Mr. Buddy McKinstry, who have provided us with
photographs. Mrs. Duff also helped proofread pages
before publishing. A great big "Thank You" to all of you
who have made this project possible.
I will be looking for past pictures of our web page
classes to put them on this page to recognize them.
