Established in 1965 by parents seeking a
better educational opportunity for their
children, Glades Day School is based on
the traditional neighborhood school
where high moral values, character, and
scholastic
achievement
are emphasized.
Glades
Day School is located in Belle Glade,
Florida, a friendly rural town in
western Palm Beach County. Belle Glade
is located on the southeastern tip of
Lake Okeechobee, and is known for its
sugarcane industry, winter vegetables,
recreational fishing, and outstanding
athletic teams.
Glades
Day School's philosophy is to provide an
outstanding education that balances
academic, athletic, and spiritual
components that prepares students for
both college and life.
The

and development through a wide variety
of elective and enrichment courses, a
strong program of extra-curricular
activities, and an opportunity to join a

and organizations that encourage moral
and spiritual development. Close ties
between administration, parents,
teachers, and students are welcomed and
