 During
the summer of 2007, the large project of
consolidating our elementary and high school
libraries was taken on and completed with the
help of our maintenance department, student
summer helpers, wonderful teachers and new media
staff. The new location is the old band room or
the north west corner room of the
McWhorter Hall/Mace Athletic Center.
Six computer
stations are set up for student searches by
author, subject, or title using the Follett
Library Software as well as Scholastic Reading Counts
software for taking quizzes.
Daily announcements are broadcast throughout the
high school via PowerPoint presentation--the
elementary will be added on soon. A broadcast
station in the works.
