The Development Office
The main
objective of the Development Department is
to ensure that Glades Day School continues
to grow and advance, while helping to
provide the school with the extra funding
needed to enhance our existing programs. The
Development Office creates new sources of
information and funding for our school
though component contributions, federal and
private grants and by strengthening our
alumni relationships. Networking with other
Development Offices and attending
informative seminars and workshops is an
important tool used to accomplish these
goals.
With the
formation of the Glades Day School Alumni
Association and Alumni Fund, we are making
contact with our over 1500 graduates of the
past 40 years. It is important that our
alumni become more active, especially in its
fund raising projects.
An Alumni
Newsletter is mailed each fall and again in
the spring. This newsletter helps us reach
many alumni that do not live in our area. An
annual Gala Fundraising event is planned
with an evening full of fun, including a
dinner and live auction.
With the
leadership of our Head of School, the
continued support of our Board of Trustees,
benefactors, faculty members, students, and
parents, we are confident that Glades Day
School will provide a first class education
for our children and prepare them for life.
