Business Office

Glades Day School has been able to offer a quality education at an affordable price since 1965. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our faculty and parents, and the loyalty of our donors, we have been able to carry on the tradition of educating the children of the western Palm Beach County and giving back to our communities responsible, productive adults.

Our tuition is one of the lowest of all the schools that are members of the Florida Council of Independent Schools, but donations from individuals and companies is part of what helps us to maintain an affordable tuition.

Our school offers financial aid to single parents and low income families. To aid in this goal, a scholarship fund has been set up to contribute to this service. We hope that in the future this scholarship fund will grow to meet the demands placed upon it. Our Development Office is seeking grants, scholarships and new funding sources that will enhance our curriculum and all areas of our school.

One of our goals for the coming years is to continue to improve teacher salaries and benefits and to make sure that we maintain our facilities for future students of Glades Day School.

  • The average enrollment at GDS has been over 600 students.

  • The average annual cost to educate each student is $5,900.

  • The average annual tuition is  $5,700.

This data highlights the effort of Glades Day School to:

  • Keep tuition rates as low as possible in this rural, agricultural setting where so many of our families struggle with financial responsibilities.

  • Get maximum efficiency from the precious financial sources with which we are entrusted, spending a fraction of the public school cost per pupil while still providing a quality education.

  • Provide a full, rich, positive life experience that allows every child to participate in a wide range of athletic and extracurricular activities.
